New Original Research Paper Published in Reports on Progress in Physics (IF: 20.7)
I am incredibly proud to announce that our comprehensive original research article, “Laser-induced plasma formation and cavitation in water: from nanoeffects to extreme states of matter,” has just been published online in Reports on Progress in Physics (IOP Publishing).
With a journal Impact Factor of 20.7, this publication represents a major milestone for our research group at the Institute of Biomedical Optics. Co-authored with my esteemed colleagues Norbert Linz, Sebastian Freidank, and Alfred Vogel, this extensive 55-page report synthesizes years of theoretical and experimental advancements.
A deep understanding of these mechanisms is crucial not only for fundamental fluid mechanics and plasma physics but also for advancing high-precision applications like cellular nanosurgery and ophthalmology.
